The PaCHaPCC is committed to providing advocacy to promoting palliative and end-of-life care for children with life limiting conditions.

Current Issues: developing initiatives.

Legislation: developing and pending legislation.

Short-term goals:

• Identify those legislators who are involved in Pennsylvania's health care issues
• Provide follow-up information from the November 2008 task force report to all legislators
• Meet with key legislators to determine the next step towards legislation regarding pediatric palliative and hospice care

Long-term goals:

• Develop a comprehensive plan to provide ongoing communication and updates to legislators about the needs for pediatric palliative and hospice care
• Help to enact legislation that provides for key objectives for
• pediatric palliative and hospice care for PA
